Given that, The speed of motorcycle is $50 \frac{km}{h}$ And, the distance needed to be completed is$ 70 km $ within $1$ hour. So, Lets find out how many hours can the motorcycle cover with in $3$ hours by $50 \frac{km}{h}$ Here, $$ 50\frac{km}{h}\\ .\\ 3 h $$$$\implies 150 km$$ So, We find out that by the speed of $ 50 \frac{km}{h} $ the motorcycle will cover a distance of $150km$ in 3 hours. And as a result they can over come the required distance with in $3$ hour

I believe that by saying double motorcycle, it means that only two passengers may ride it at the same moment, after all we wouldn't need the pedestrian speed if it were possible all 3 ride at the same monent with the bike (which is not possible) so you had better have another look
